Organizing and managing annual scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops related to the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
Contributing to the preparation of the annual scientific plan for the unit and its branches, ensuring alignment with defined goals.
Promoting scientific collaboration and communication with universities, institutions, and research centers.
Attracting researchers from Iraq, the Arab world, and internationally to contribute to the Encyclopedia of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
Developing a specialized library for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage and enriching it with modern and diverse scientific publications.
Preparing the annual statistical bulletin on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage to document and analyze data related to the pilgrimage.
Overseeing the preparation of periodic reports on services and hospitality during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, ensuring their preservation, and proposing new heritage elements for registration with UNESCO.
Monitoring media coverage of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage ceremonies to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting.
Preparing and evaluating studies and surveys related to the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, analyzing religious, social, economic, political, and environmental factors.
Organizing and managing periodic meetings of the Academic Sciences Council for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, as well as specialized committees in areas such as health, environment, transportation, economy, politics, and society.
Following up on studies and research related to the International Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage and implementing the findings to enhance the pilgrimage.
Reviewing submitted research and selecting participants for the International Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage through an electronic platform.
Documenting the intellectual contributions of researchers from the International Conference after linguistic review and publishing them in the Scientific Journal of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
Developing and maintaining the Arbaeen Pilgrimage website, uploading center publications, and publishing the Scientific Journal of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage in March and September.
Collecting data and statistics related to the Arbaeen Pilgrimage through surveys.
Providing an appropriate environment for foreign and Arab researchers to explore the culture of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage and the human values embodied by the pilgrims (cooperation, dedication, volunteer work, peaceful coexistence) and encouraging them to write reports documenting their experiences.
