A new book by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al-Yousef, entitled: (The Arbaeen Pilgrimage and Hussaini Love: A Reading of the Contents, Implications and Effects), first edition 1440 AH - 2019 AD, 91 pages, 11/20 cm.
The author's introduction to the book states:
The Arbaeen Pilgrimage reveals an aspect of the manifestations of the greatness of the personality of Imam Hussein bin Ali (AS), his lofty position, his status, his virtue and his honor, as millions of believers from every direction march on foot towards the grave of Imam Hussein (AS) to visit him on the Arbaeen anniversary.
In every visit to Imam Hussein (AS), an aspect of his greatness and a secret of his secrets is revealed, and every year the lovers and admirers of Hussein (AS) increase, so that (the Arbaeen Pilgrimage) constitutes the climax of the march towards his pure shrine and his radiant scene; To be close to his spirit, approach and blessed ray, so that they may draw inspiration from him for the values of justice, truth, sacrifice, giving, altruism, sincerity and responsibility.
No one can gather these millions of people, with unparalleled conviction and enthusiasm, at one time and in one place; as Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) gathered them on the Arbain pilgrimage , which falls on the twentieth of Safar every year.
The deep spiritual and faith-based atmosphere is evident in the fortieth visit to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and the believers derive from it a tremendous moral energy, filled with the pleasure of worship, the sweetness of faith, and the purification and refinement of the soul; through walking not for the sake of few means of transportation, but for the sake of the struggle of the soul, which is the greatest struggle as the Prophet (peace be upon him) called it.
This booklet deals with some of the contents, implications and effects of the Arbain pilgrimage, and explains the text of the visit in the books of hadith and jurisprudence, and is divided into two chapters:
Chapter One: the Arbain pilgrimage in hadith and jurisprudence.
Chapter Two: the Arbain pilgrimage and Husseini enthusiasm.
The author concluded his book with an appendix that included the method and text of the specialthe Arbain pilgrimage .
